Pointing and clicking a plastic neon orange gun at the screen to down some ducks in Duck Hunt with my dad was my first Nintendo memory, only to be eclipsed by my mom absolutely demolishing me in Dr. Mario. Fast forward to my parents spending an entire month calling stores and waiting in lines to get us a Wii for Christmas and eventually, me exhausting every delivery app I could to get a Switch on launch day. Yeah, I love Nintendo. At BuzzFeed, I wrote a personal pilot post about Nintendo’s app MiiTomo and how it helped me through living alone for the first time. It led to Nintendo paying me to write branded posts about Pokemon. Still trying to catch ‘em all.
